Who we are
About us
Let Us Give is a campaign initially set up to lift the ban on blood donation by gay men, bisexual men, transgender women and some non-binary people who have sex with men.
In April 2026, the campaign welcomed Lifeblood’s move to remove the ban and move to a gender neutral assessment.
Our campaign is now actively encouraging all newly eligible community members to roll up their sleeves and donate blood and/or plasma, whilst continuing to push for change to ensure Australia adopts policies in line with other countries following a gender neutral assessment.
Let Us Give is auspiced by LGBTIQA+ advocacy organisation Just.Equal Australia.
